The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) confirmed that over 16.68 lakh government email accounts have been migrated to Zoho’s cloud platform. The project, executed through the National Informatics Centre (NIC), cost ₹180.10 crore and was awarded to Zoho via a Government e-Marketplace bidding process. This marks a significant step toward digital sovereignty and modernization of India’s communication systems.

Zomato Parent’s ESOP Strategy

Eternal Limited, the parent company of Zomato, has rolled out fresh employee stock options (ESOPs) covering 74.18 lakh equity shares. Valued at approximately ₹167 crore based on the current share price of ₹224.7, the ESOPs span across three schemes—Foodie Bay ESOP 2014, Zomato ESOP 2021, and Zomato ESOP 2024. This move continues Eternal’s long-term strategy of using equity incentives to retain talent and reward employees.
