1,000 Nepalese Students Return to KIIT Amid NHRC Probe

KIIT University announced that 1,000 out of the 1,100 Nepalese students who evacuated the campus during unrest have now returned to pick up their studies. This news comes as an on-spot probe by the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) into a Nepalese student's alleged suicide, Prakriti Lamsal. The university has made efforts to restore normalcy and ensure student safety, holding talks with the Nepal Embassy and student leaders. The NHRC team is likely to present its report by March 10.
