Aahana Kumra: 'Good Actor' Tag Not Enough as She Faces Industry Challenges

Aahana Kumra, an actress known for her impactful performances, made her debut in 2009 with the short film Mai and entered Bollywood with Sona Spa in 2013. She gained recognition through roles in films like Lipstick Under My Burkha and The Accidental Prime Minister, as well as the series Yudh, where she starred alongside Amitabh Bachchan. Despite her success, Kumra revealed in a recent interview that she hasn't received any acting offers in over three years, expressing frustration with the industry's focus on star power and lower-cost actors. She stated, "If you are a good actor, nobody offers you work," and mentioned exploring alternative avenues to sustain herself financially while feeling disheartened by her stagnant career trajectory
