Accord BioPharma Secures Exclusive U.S. Rights to Commercialize BAT2506 Biosimilar

Accord BioPharma, the U.S. specialty division of Intas Pharmaceuticals, has entered into an exclusive agreement with Bio-Thera Solutions to commercialize BAT2506 in the U.S. BAT2506, a proposed biosimilar to Simponi® (golimumab), targets conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and ulcerative colitis. Bio-Thera will oversee development and manufacturing, while Accord will manage U.S. commercialization. With Simponi® generating $3.2 billion globally in 2023, this partnership strengthens Accord’s biosimilar portfolio and expands patient access to affordable biologics.
