Adani Clears the Shelf: Full Exit from AWL Bags ₹108 Billion

Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL) has announced a strategic divestment from Adani Wilmar Ltd (AWL), marking the end of its two-decade-long partnership in the edible oil and food business. Through its wholly-owned subsidiary Adani Commodities LLP (ACL), AEL will sell its remaining 30.42 percent stake in AWL to a set of pre-identified investors, including Lence Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of Wilmar International.

Key transaction highlights:  
- ACL currently holds 30.42 percent in AWL, translating to approximately 39.54 crore shares  
- The sale price is fixed at ₹275 per share, valuing the transaction at ₹108.74 billion  
- This follows a prior Offer for Sale in January 2025, where ACL offloaded 13.51 percent stake for ₹48.55 billion  
- The current sale completes AEL’s full exit from AWL, which will cease to be an associate company post-transaction
