Adani Ports Set for Strong Growth as India's Development Push Gains Momentum

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) is placed well for robust growth on the back of India's continuing development efforts. According to a recent report, APSEZ's diversified port business, strong cargo mix, and integrated logistics system are among the factors underpinning its strength and long-term growth. APSEZ has announced a big-ticket capex plan of Rs 800 billion over FY25 to FY29 for increasing domestic ports and strengthening its logistics business. APSEZ will manage 800-850 million metric tonnes of domestic cargo in 2030, representing an estimated 11% compound annual growth rate. The report further predicts a 14% revenue CAGR for APSEZ in FY24-FY27 on the back of a 12% CAGR in domestic port revenue and a 25% CAGR in its growing logistics business.
