Aditya and Geet's Encore? Not So Fast, Says Imtiaz Ali

Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali has added fuel to the burning speculation regarding a sequel to his 2007 blockbuster 'Jab We Met', as recent reunions of Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan at IIFA 2025 in Jaipur have seen fans hailing the moment as the return of Aditya and Geet. Although adding that this love for 'Jab We Met' is rather astonishing-it's been twelve years since the release-it might foil its legacy if a sequel were to be made. Ali said that there were no immediate plans to bring Shahid and Kareena back together on-screen because everyone had moved on from the film.
