Air India Flight Makes U-Turn Back to Mumbai for Mid-Air Security Risk

Air India Flight AI119, flying from Mumbai to New York, made a u-turn in the middle of its journey after an onboard security risk was noticed. The Boeing 777 flight landed safely in Mumbai on March 10 at 10:25 AM. Mandatory checks are being done by security agencies, and passengers have been offered hotel stays until the flight is rescheduled to leave on March 11. Air India acted on the priority of safety and followed the protocols in the event. Information on the threat has not been revealed yet as the investigation goes on.
