All Aboard! Kia India Delivers 60,000 SUVs By Rail

Kia India has achieved a milestone by crossing the 60,000 mark in the delivery of SUVs through the rail network to northern, eastern, and western parts of the country. This has been achieved when the company inaugurates India's first double-decker freight train for the transportation of SUVs from Penukonda railway station. The new train is capable of transporting 264 cars, more than two times the capacity of conventional trains. This new approach is designed to lower transit times, lower waiting times for customers, and help create a greener logistics solution. The move is in line with India's vision of becoming a manufacturing and logistics hub of the world while lowering carbon footprint.
