Amit Shah drives Bihar's development with ₹800 crore worth of projects

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has unveiled a series of transformative schemes and projects worth over ₹800 crore in Bihar, marking a significant milestone in the state's development journey. The announcement was made on International Cooperative Day, with Shah emphasizing the importance of cooperative and urban development in fostering growth.

The projects include ₹111 crore allocated to the cooperative department and ₹421 crore to the urban development and housing department. Additionally, Shah laid the foundation stones for 133 police buildings, costing ₹181 crore, and three road transport and national highway projects worth ₹109 crore. A makhana processing unit was also inaugurated remotely at the Fishermen's Cooperative Society in Darbhanga district, alongside the distribution of micro ATMs to 'bank mitras' of the Bihar State Cooperative Bank.

The event, attended by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and other dignitaries, showcased the government's commitment to enhancing infrastructure, empowering local communities, and driving economic growth in the region.
