Anahat Singh Clinches U-17 Girls' Singles Title at British Junior Open

Indian squash sensation Anahat Singh won the British Junior Open in Birmingham on January 6, 2025, in the U-17 girls' singles. The 16-year-old top seed came out on top of a nail-biting five-game match against Egypt's Malika Elkaraksy with scores of 4-11, 11-9, 6-11, 11-5, and 11-3. It is Singh's third British Junior Open title after winning at the U-11 and U-15 level. Anahat's outstanding performance continues to make her a rising star in the squash world, after winning nine PSA Challenger titles last year.
