Industrialist Anand Mahindra created a viral social media moment when he reacted to a proposal to present FBI Director Kash Patel with a Mahindra Thar. The conversation started after Mahindra posted a tweet regarding Patel's appointment, where an X user proposed presenting him with a Thar. Mahindra jokingly responded, "Hmmm. This man does seem deserving of a Thar." The exchange was popular online with users enjoying the humor of Mahindra. This is not the first time Mahindra has donated vehicles to people who have achieved exceptional things. At the same time, Patel, a first-generation Indian-American, was sworn in as FBI Director on February 21, 2025, placing his right hand on the Bhagavad Gita in the ceremony.
