Andhra Pradesh Commits to Matching Central Funds: Budget 2025-26 to Boost Development

Andhra Pradesh's upcoming Budget 2025-26 will allocate matching grants for centrally sponsored schemes, according to Telugu Parirakshana Party (TPP) Chairman Dinakar. This move aims to maximize the state's share of central funds and accelerate development projects. The decision comes as the state received over Rs 63,000 crore under various central schemes in the past five years. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's recent budget also promised special grants for backward districts in Rayalaseema and North Andhra. This strategic allocation is expected to revitalize infrastructure, healthcare, and rural development initiatives across the state, aligning with the vision of inclusive growth.
