Arihant Academy Expands Its Reach with Carmel Classes Acquisition

Arihant Academy, a leading NSE-listed education firm, has acquired Carmel Classes and Carmel Tuitions in a deal valued at Rs 10.2 crore. This strategic move significantly strengthens Arihant's presence in the education sector, adding nearly 30 classrooms and over 2,000 students to its portfolio.  

Carmel Classes, founded in 1994, has built a strong reputation for delivering quality education across State Board, CBSE, and ICSE syllabi, along with specialized programs in Commerce, Arts, and IELTS preparation. The acquisition will enable Arihant Academy to expand its offerings for students in Std. VIII to XII, integrating technology-driven education methods to enhance learning experiences.  

Key highlights include:  
- Acquisition of 100% stake in Carmel Classes and Carmel Tuitions.  
- Expansion of Arihant Academy’s footprint across Vasai and Mumbai.  
- Integration of nearly 30 classrooms and a student base exceeding 2,000 learners.  
- Strengthening of academic offerings, including professional courses like CA, CS, and IELTS.  

Arihant Academy co-founder Anil Kapasi expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating that the combined expertise and resources will elevate the education system to new heights. This move reinforces Arihant’s leadership in Mumbai’s educational landscape, ensuring students benefit from enhanced digital platforms and experienced faculty.
