Asian Winter Games: Kazakhstan and South Korea Eye Ice Hockey Glory in Medal Round

At the 2025 Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China, the women's ice hockey teams from Kazakhstan and South Korea have advanced to the medal round, showcasing their prowess on the ice. Kazakhstan's team demonstrated dominance with consecutive victories, defeating Hong Kong 12-0 and Thailand 9-0 in the group stage.  South Korea also showcased strong performances, advancing through the preliminary rounds to reach the semifinals. Both teams are now poised to compete for podium positions, highlighting their prowess in women's ice hockey within the Asian continent.
