AstraZeneca Pharma India Receives CDSCO Approval to Import New Drug for COPD Treatment

AstraZeneca Pharma India Limited has received permission from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) to import pharmaceutical formulations of a new drug, Budesonide 160 mcg + Glycopyrronium 7.2 mcg + Formoterol Fumarate Dihydrate 5 mcg.

This combination therapy is indicated for the maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The approval paves the way for the launch of BREZTRI AEROSPHERE in India, offering a new treatment option for patients with COPD.
