Banking on Innovation: Sitharaman's Vision for a New Era

Speaking at SBI's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, she praised SBI for evolving with the times and retaining its market leader position. Sitharaman highlighted SBI's focus on technology, sustainability, and inclusivity, noting its enhanced infrastructure and talent pool. SBI aims to drive wealth creation through operational excellence in lending, asset quality, and profitability. The bank serves over 51 crore customers with a business of Rs 87 lakh crore.
