BEL Secures ₹962 Crore in Defence Contracts, Boosts Indian Navy Capabilities

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has clinched three significant contracts from the Ministry of Defence, totaling ₹962 crore. The largest order, worth ₹610 crore, is for supplying 28 EON-51 Electro-Optical Fire Control Systems to the Indian Navy. These systems will enhance search, detection, and target engagement capabilities on naval vessels. Additional orders include anti-drone systems and integrated fire detection systems. This development strengthens BEL's order book and reinforces India's commitment to indigenous defence production.
