Bengaluru Woman Scammed into Paying ₹3,000 for ₹450 Taxi Ride

In a distressing incident at Bengaluru Airport, a woman was scammed into paying ₹3,000 for a taxi ride that should have cost ₹450. Upon arrival around 10:30 PM, she was approached by a man offering a ride for ₹450, claiming he was heading in her direction. During the journey, additional demands were made for tolls and fuel, and the route taken was unfamiliar and deserted, causing her unease. The situation escalated when the driver and his accomplice demanded ₹3,000, claiming the initial fare was merely a booking fee. Fearing for her safety, she complied and later shared her ordeal online to warn others about such scams.
