BHEL Secures Massive ₹118 Billion Order, Powering India's Energy Future

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has clinched a colossal ₹118 billion order from Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company Limited (CSPGCL) for the 2x660 MW Korba West Super Thermal Power Plant. This Letter of Intent (LoI) marks BHEL's third major power project order in 2025, following recent contracts for Raghunathpur TPP and Koradi TPS. The scope includes supply, erection, and commissioning of steam generators, turbines, and auxiliaries. This order reinforces BHEL's dominance in India's power sector and aligns with the country's growing energy demands. With a 48-52 month execution timeline, BHEL continues to play a crucial role in India's thermal power expansion.
