Bihar's Hidden Wildlife Gem

Bihar's sole tiger reserve, Valmiki Tiger Reserve (VTR), is emerging as a must-visit destination for wildlife enthusiasts. Spanning over 900 square kilometers in West Champaran district, VTR is home to 54 Bengal tigers as of 2022. The reserve offers a unique blend of dense forests and diverse wildlife, including leopards, sloth bears, Indian bison, and over 250 bird species.
