Biting into the Big League: Apple Enters India's Top Five

Apple has registered record growth in India, with iPhone shipments up 11.7% during January 2025, bucking an overall smartphone market decline of 9.7%. Indian consumers are becoming more enamored of iPhones, propelling Apple into the top five smartphone brands for the first time ever during the festive period of late 2024. Apple's localized production and premium focus have propelled it forward even in a declining Android market. India is currently Apple's fourth-largest market in the world, with further expansion of retail presence planned in 2025, highlighting its increasing significance to the company's worldwide strategy.
