BRICS Nations Poised to Seize Half of World's Wealth

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak announced that the BRICS economies are projected to account for over 50% of the global GDP in the next 10-15 years. As of 2024, BRICS is an expanded bloc in membership with Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE and comprises 37.4% of the total global GDP against the backdrop of G7's 29.3%. This projection espouses a gradual rise in the economic importance of the BRICS nations as essential growth drivers for the global economy. At present, the combined GDP of the group exceeds $60 trillion, making it greater than that of the G7 countries.
