World record holder Samra in the event mounted a late charge in the standing series to close in even nearer to the leaders, missing the medals by a mere 0.9 points from Switzerland's silver medallist Emely Jaeggi (464.8). Norway's Jeanette Hegg Duestad won the gold in a dominant 466.9.

Samra's journey to the podium began with a strong qualification round, where she finished in second place with 592 points, level with France's Agathe Cecile Camille Girard but second on inner 10s. The final saw her move up the leaderboard after slipping back in the kneeling and prone stages, recording a series of high-scoring shots in standing to claim her medal.

This bronze adds to Samra's stellar 2025 campaign, which began with a gold at Buenos Aires World Cup. This is also a good comeback from a poor experience at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
