BYD Eyes Indian Manufacturing Amid Visa Challenges, Aims for Growth in 2025

BYD, China's giant electric vehicle, does not look at visa complications and political tensions between the two nations as a cause for concern when it comes to its manufacturing opportunity in India. According to Rajeev Chauhan, head of BYD's Electric Passenger Vehicles Business in India, "We would love to make manufacturing happen but are constantly watching the situation. BYD has been getting very good responses from pragmatic Indian customers.". The company will navigate the compliance requirements to further its presence in the Indian market.
