Byte-Sized Hospitality: OYO's Tech Makeover Has Competition Checking Out

The CEO of OYO, Ritesh Agarwal, emphasized AI and data science applications in the hospitality sector at the Mumbai Tech Week on March 1, 2025. He focused on introducing AI before check-in by targeting front-office processes and the guest experience. OYO introduced dynamic pricing models that steer more than 70% of bookings across the global markets. In addition, he mentioned his literal leadership style, such as when he cleans hotel toilets to set the right example for his team. OYO was preparing for an IPO, while still finding ways to innovate in the hospitality tech space.
