Champions Trophy 2025: Potential Swansong for Kohli, Rohit, and Jadeja

Former India opener Aakash Chopra predicts that the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025 could be the final ICC event for Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Ravindra Jadeja. With the trio having retired from T20Is, their next opportunity would be the 2027 ODI World Cup, which Chopra believes is "too far" away. He suggests that by 2027, the cricketing landscape will look significantly different. The Champions Trophy, set to begin on February 19, will see India start their campaign against Bangladesh on February 20 in Dubai. As the tournament approaches, all eyes will be on these veteran players, potentially making their last appearance in an ICC event together.
