Chhattisgarh's 'Prayag Rajim' Gears Up for Grand Kumbh Kalpa 2025

The ancient city of Rajim, known as Chhattisgarh's Prayag, is set to host the Rajim Kumbh Kalpa 2025 starting today, February 12, 2025. This 15-day spiritual extravaganza will continue until February 26, coinciding with Mahashivratri. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has announced that the event will showcase Chhattisgarh's rich traditions and culture on a 52-acre newly proposed fairground. The Kumbh Kalpa will feature holy baths, Ganga aarti, saint congregations, and cultural programs. CM Sai emphasized the importance of ensuring a memorable experience for devotees and spreading the state's glorious heritage to the world. The confluence of the Mahanadi, Pairi, and Sondur rivers will host millions of pilgrims seeking spiritual enlightenment during this auspicious period.
