Cinéma Magnifique: Naseeruddin Shah Enchants the French Festival of Kolkata

On February 22, 2025, veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah inaugurated the second edition of the French Film Festival Kolkata (3FK) and professed his love for the city and its cinematic heritage. The eight-day-long festival, organized by Alliance Française du Bengale and Nandan, includes over 80 films, mostly French classics and acclaimed Indian works. Shah will present the iconic film "Manthan" as tribute to dead director Shyam Benegal. The festival consists of six curated sections: Animation Films, Classics, Contemporary Cinema, and more. A few moments later, filmmaker Goutam Ghose, actor Rituparna Sengupta, and director Anubhav Sinha were present.
