The sequel to the 2019 hit Pati Patni Aur Woh has sparked debate online, with some viewers worried it glorifies extramarital affairs. Ayushmann Khurrana, joined by co-stars Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, and Wamiqa Gabbi, addressed these concerns directly at the trailer launch.

Ayushmann’s Clarification

Ayushmann emphasized that the film is built around situational humour and chaotic mix-ups rather than infidelity. He explained that his role, Prajapati Pandey, is portrayed as a responsible husband and father, making the film suitable for family viewing. He even revealed that his children watched the edit and enjoyed it, reinforcing his belief that the film is wholesome. 

Co-Stars’ Support

Rakul Preet Singh echoed Ayushmann’s statement, calling the film a “comedy of errors” that audiences will relate to. Sara Ali Khan and Wamiqa Gabbi also highlighted the film’s light-hearted tone, distancing it from any suggestion of promoting problematic relationship dynamics.
