Commercial LPG Prices Slashed: Budget Day Brings Relief for Businesses

In a surprising move ahead of the Union Budget 2025, oil marketing companies have reduced the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 7, not Rs 17 as initially reported. Effective February 1, 2025, the new price in Delhi is Rs 1,797, down from Rs 1,804. This reduction is expected to provide some relief to restaurants, hotels, and other businesses relying on LPG for daily operations. The price cut comes as part of ongoing fuel price adjustments in response to changing global market conditions. Domestic LPG prices remain unchanged.
