Cooperative Sector Surges: Shah Hails Government's Transformative Initiatives

Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah praised the BJP-led government's efforts that have propelled India's cooperative sector up in the last three years. Speaking at the 60th jubilee celebrations of Janata Sahakari Bank in Pune, Shah noted that the Modi government made the cooperative sector marketable. Among the other things, he mentioned the formulation of the cooperative university bill and the establishment of the first regional branch of the Central Register of Cooperative Societies in Pune. Shah also called on the cooperative banking sector to embrace technology and stressed the importance of the sector in fulfilling India's development goals by 2047.
