Delhi Reimposes GRAP Stage IV Curbs as Air Quality Deteriorates; Light Rain Forecasted

The action plan includes stopping all construction activity, restricting non-essential polluting trucks to enter the state, and some limitations on industries. The 24-hour average Air Quality Index was at 409. Hazardous levels of pollution prevail. The India Meteorological Department has predicted light rain today. This might bring temporary relief, as the rain will scatter pollutants. People are advised to keep outdoor activities minimal and follow health advisories.
