Delhi's PWD Revolution: Simplifying Complaints with New Four-Digit Helplines

Delhi PWD has launched new four-digit helplines in place of the 10-digit old number that officials used to forget. PWD Minister Parvesh Verma said that 1908 is the new PWD helpline and 1916 is for the Delhi Jal Board (DJB). The move is meant to make complaint lodging easier, particularly in the case of waterlogging during the monsoon season. Verma underlined the need for officials to solve issues on the ground and not from air-conditioned offices. The minister also inspected work on ongoing infrastructure projects in different assembly constituencies, such as road repairs and drain cleaning.
