According to Riva, the Blinkit delivery agent arrived at her home around 3:30 pm. His tone was rude and inappropriate from the start. When her mother, Nisha Arora, tried to de-escalate the situation, the agent continued to behave disrespectfully. Matters worsened when her sister Muskan encountered him in the lift, where he allegedly used crass language repeatedly.

Police Response

The confrontation lasted nearly 40 minutes before Riva and her sister stopped the agent from leaving the premises. They immediately contacted the Mumbai Police, who arrived quickly and handled the matter on the spot. Riva confirmed that the case is being processed through appropriate legal channels.

Riva’s family has also filed a formal complaint with Blinkit, demanding stricter training for delivery agents in communication and professionalism. She stressed that such incidents could happen to anyone and urged people to stand up against inappropriate behavior.
