How to apply
Applications must be submitted online via the Passport Seva portal. Applicants need to register, fill in the e-passport application form, upload required documents, and schedule an appointment at a Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) or Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK). Biometric data will be captured during the appointment.

Application fee
The fee for an e-passport is the same as a traditional passport. For a 36-page passport, the fee is Rs 1,500, while a 60-page passport costs Rs 2,000. Tatkal applications carry higher charges.
