Eastman and Urja Mobility Join Forces to Boost EV Growth in India

Eastman Auto and Power Ltd (EAPL) has partnered with Urja Mobility to accelerate electric vehicle adoption in India. The collaboration involves Urja Mobility procuring over 20,000 lithium-ion batteries from Eastman for its battery leasing solutions. Eastman will integrate Urja Mobility's IoT and software solutions into its lithium battery products, enhancing remote monitoring and data analytics. This partnership aims to make battery leasing more accessible and cost-effective for commercial EV users, particularly in the electric three-wheeler segment. The initiative is expected to contribute significantly to India's sustainability goals and transform the country's EV sector.
