ED Custody Extended for Key Figures in Fairplay App Money Laundering Case

The Special PMLA Court in Mumbai has extended the Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody of Chirag Shah and Chintan Shah until February 18, 2025, in connection with the Fairplay app money laundering case. The brothers, arrested on February 12, are accused of providing technical and operational support to the illegal online betting platform. The ED alleges that Fairplay was involved in unauthorized IPL match broadcasts and betting activities, causing significant revenue losses. This extension allows the agency to continue its investigation into the complex financial network behind the app's operations.
