Education First: Modi's 15-Minute Delay Demonstrates Student-Centric Focus

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi showed his dedication to education by keeping his departure for the Global Investors Summit (GIS) site in Bhopal 15 minutes back on Monday. The Prime Minister was about to leave for the summit but instead remained at his residence to talk to a group of students who had assembled to greet him. This move underlines Modi's focus on youth involvement and education, even while he was going about his hectic round of economic and diplomatic interactions. The short encounter was an opportunity for students to connect with their Prime Minister and express their hopes and fears in person. Modi putting this spontaneous meeting ahead of a big-ticket economic function is a clear indication of the government's priorities on developing young talent and promoting direct interaction with India's next generation of leaders.
