Battery electric vehicles (BEVs) are projected to capture 48% of the global market share, a significant leap from 16% in 2025. India is poised to lead this electric revolution, alongside Latin America, Japan, and Southeast Asia, with local brands driving adoption. The global BEV market is expected to maintain strong growth, with an annual rate of 17% from 2025 to 2030, as automakers ramp up production and reduce costs to meet rising demand.
