EPFO's Contribution:

EPFO distributed appointment letters to 976 recruits, comprising 345 Accounts Officers/Enforcement Officers and 631 Social Security Assistants.

The recruitment exercise is a step towards boosting the effectiveness of social security services for crore of subscribers in India.

Prime Minister's Address:

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke at the function through videoconferencing, reflecting on the government's drive to create jobs and empower youth.

Recruitment Strategy:

EPFO has created a separate recruitment vertical at its Head Office to facilitate regular recruitment and has framed a recruitment calendar as per the instructions of the Union Minister of Labour and Employment, Mansukh Mandaviya.

Training and Development:

The new joiners will be trained through the iGOT Karmayogi platform and formal classes to enhance their skills and perform better in their job.

Past Achievements:

In the previous year, EPFO had employed 159 Assistant Provident Fund Commissioners, 84 Junior Translation Officers, 28 Stenographers, and 2,674 Social Security Assistants, among others.

Future Plans:

Recruitment to posts such as Assistant Provident Fund Commissioners, Enforcement Officers, and Administrative Officers is continuing.

This effort reaffirms EPFO's commitment to transparent and merit-based hiring in line with the government's vision of a strong and inclusive economy.
