Euro Futures Soar: A New Dawn for European Markets?

Stock futures for Europe are suggesting a good open, with EURO STOXX 50 futures advancing 1.9%, DAX futures gaining 2.3%, and FTSE futures also in the positive side. Markets are expecting the interest rate cut from the European Central Bank later today, which is expected to be another cut. Institutional investors are digesting Germany's recent shift in fiscal policy, which triggered a steep sell-off in German bonds and drove the euro to its highest level in four months. The ECB policy announcement comes at 1315 GMT, followed by President Christine Lagarde's press conference at 1345 GMT. These events are being watched closely by traders for hints at future monetary policy direction.
