Farmers and Centre Hold Cordial Talks; Next Round Scheduled for February 22

The central government and the farmers who have been protesting held a friendly meeting on Friday, February 14, to discuss important agricultural issues, such as MSP and other demands. They have planned the next round of talks for February 22, with Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan expected to take part. Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal shared his hopefulness about the discussions, highlighting the importance of constructive dialogue. This meeting comes after extended protests by farmers who are pushing for policy changes and improved support for the agricultural sector.
