Fire Breaks Out at Maha Kumbh Mela, But Quick Response Ensures Zero Casualties

A gas cylinder explosion ignited a fire at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, India, on Sunday, engulfing at least 18 temporary tents. Firefighters swiftly contained the blaze, and no injuries were reported. The festival, held every 12 years, is considered the world's largest religious gathering, with over 400 million attendees expected over six weeks. Authorities have implemented extensive safety measures, including the deployment of 50,000 security personnel and the construction of a vast tent city equipped with thousands of kitchens, toilets, and hospitals, to ensure the well-being of pilgrims.
