Fresher Hiring Intent Surges in India for H1 2025

A better future in store for India's freshers as nearly 74% of companies plan to hire freshers in the initial half of 2025 compared to 68% of the same period last year. This has been mentioned in the TeamLease EdTech Career Outlook Report, which surveyed 649 employers across India. The IT sector is likely to lead this hiring boom with over 150,000 entry-level jobs. Some of the most sought-after jobs are machine learning and AI engineers, UX designers, and cybersecurity analysts. E-commerce, manufacturing, and engineering also have high hiring intent. The employers are placing importance on technical skills and soft skills like computational thinking and teamwork.
