From Australia to Agra: Canva Bets Big on India's Booming Creator Economy

Canva, the global visual communication platform, has announced its strategic vision for India in 2025. Co-founder Cameron Adams, on his first visit to the country, highlighted India as Canva's fourth-largest market. The company unveiled plans for a new Hindi website and state-wide education partnerships. Adams emphasized the importance of localization, stating, "By thinking globally, we can create a truly local product." Canva revealed that Indians created 666 million designs in the past year. The platform's success in India is attributed to its understanding of local needs, including innovative pricing strategies like sachet pricing. Canva aims to make India its biggest market within the next two to three years.
