From Humble Beginnings to IAS Glory: Ansar Shaikh's Inspiring Journey

Ansar Shaikh, the son of an auto-rickshaw driver from Jalna, Maharashtra, has etched his name in history as India's youngest IAS officer. At just 21 years old, he achieved this remarkable feat by securing an All India Rank (AIR) of 361 in the 2016 UPSC Civil Services Examination. Born into a family facing financial hardships, Ansar's determination and resilience were pivotal in his success. His academic prowess was evident from an early age, with a 91% score in his 10th-grade exams. He pursued his undergraduate degree in Marathi and Political Science from Pune, laying the foundation for his future goals.

Ansar's journey is a testament to the power of hard work and a strong support system. Despite his family's financial struggles, his parents prioritized education, and he received encouragement from friends and his coaching institute. Currently, Ansar serves as the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) in Cooch Behar, West Bengal, dedicating his success to his family's unwavering support.
