Game-Changer for Indian Manufacturing! AM/NS India Commissions Two High-Tech Steel Lines

ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) is set to commission two state-of-the-art production lines at its Hazira plant in Gujarat by 2025. These lines—a Continuous Galvanizing Line (CGL) and a Continuous Galvanizing and Annealing Line (CGAL)—are designed to produce advanced automotive steel products, aiming to reduce India's reliance on imports and bolster the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' initiative. The expansion is part of AM/NS India's broader strategy to meet the growing domestic demand for high-quality, value-added automotive steel, currently estimated at 7.8 million tonnes annually and projected to grow by 6-7% per year.
