In Search’s AI Mode, users will now see a “plus” icon in the bottom-left corner of the prompt box.

Tapping it reveals options to open the Gallery, Camera, or Create Images—marked with a banana icon to indicate Nano Banana functionality.

Google Lens Integration

Nano Banana is now embedded in Google Lens, enabling users to generate or modify images based on what they see through their camera.

This allows real-time augmentation of visual content, such as adding elements to a scene or transforming objects.

Powered by Gemini 2.5 Flash

The tool uses Gemini’s 2.5 Flash model, known for its speed and realism in image generation.

All generated images include a subtle Gemini watermark for transparency and attribution.
