Global Quran Competition Unites 38 Nations in Jakarta

Indonesia's capital, Jakarta, is hosting the 4th International Quran Recitation Competition, drawing 60 participants from 38 countries. The event, organized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, runs from January 28 to February 2, 2025. This prestigious competition aims to strengthen Indonesia's position as a center for global Islamic civilization and promote the country's moderate, tolerant, and inclusive Islamic identity. The event features various activities, including an international seminar on the Quran and discussions on Islamic calligraphy development in Indonesia.
